Bombay Mixers
2022

From the makers of Bailley water comes the newest range of mixers crafted to enhance the experience of your favorite drinks. We created the branding & packaging design for the launch of the product line.
As part of the design team for this branding case, my focus was to create integrated visuals within the brand realm highlighting the custom flourishes and ornaments as well as the concept of the droplet.

Meaningfulness & Meaninglessness
2021

This mini-collection contains small type design works I created in the year of 2021, which are less purpose-driven but more about random ideas and achieving them.
In comparison to projects that require full strategy thinking on objectives and solutions, purposeless exploration could be fun and meaningful in its project setting.

Geltor
2021

Geltor is an earth-conscious biodesign brand that uses sustainable technologies to create the world’s most advanced designer proteins. They make ingredients that are better for the world, body, and for business.
Working as the one of the people for this branding case launch, my focus was on communicating the brand concept through a holistic visual language that highlighted the 3D orbs we created, retouching and recreating images, as well as animating infographics.

Connect, Create, Empower / Motown Rebirth
2020

What does Motown mean to us in the soul? How does the new generation encounter Motown? What could the brand be like in the future besides music and records? The objective of this hypothetical rebranding project was not only about changing aesthetics, but also about unfolding possibilities for the brand in different dimensions, tracing back to the soul and roots.
Motown music brought together a divided society, touching all people around the world. More than just historical music, Motown defines “crossover” in many aspects. Accordingly, the design concept I proposed for Motown’s rebirth goes further than music and records, and the new direction is to become a force to support diversity among the creative communities.

ArtU Online Experience
2020

This project aimed to propose a redesign possibility that helps improve the user experience of the AAU Classes App. The designer was tasked to redesign three selected user flows of the app and improve the interface. The process included initial research, interviews, and several rounds of prototype testing.
The three main functions I worked on include accessing course materials, checking grades, and posting updates to group discussions. The goal was to identify specific problems and provide practical solutions to enhance the experience.

Into the Mirage Film Festival
2019

This hypothetical film festival project coordinates a complex set of materials that must function together as a whole. From retail environments and product lines to brands and books, the designer was tasked to marry multiple messages with divergent formats—all with a unified and holistic aesthetic.
By portraying the dazzling daydreams and fantasy fragments, Fellini creates a specific illusionary world of his own style. Accordingly, the design concept I proposed for the film festival focuses on the specific moment of getting into the fantasy world.

Brew a Better World
2018

This project aimed to propose a solution to redesign the Keurig Green Mountain 2017 Sustainability Report which focuses on expanding its positive impact on the earth and our communities. The study focused on the typographic details, type system, and application. The typographic system created should be consistent throughout the entire publication and also easy to handle for the later printing and publishing process.
Keurig Green Mountain is dedicated to playing an essential role in sustainable development and environmental protection. Inspired by the brand’s classic, contemporary, and positive spirit, a new color palette and a consistent layout system could support the communication.

Portfolio Book: (Re)Think
2020

Design is about thinking, but usually that is not enough. To me, good design takes the process of thinking and rethinking, which leads to the result of sustainable, long-lasting, practical, and aesthetically pleasing solutions.
This was created as part of my study at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, which collects the work I produced from 2018 to 2020.
